We at SB Specialty Metals are dedicated to protecting your privacy and personal information. At SB Specialty Metals all of your personal information is protected by our (SSL) encryption technology. This securely encrypts and protects all of your personal data including your name, address and credit card information so that it can’t be read by anyone over the internet. We value your trust very highly, and we will work to ensure that your personal information that you provide us will be fully secured and protected.

We do not sell or give your personal information to 3rd parties. Unfortunately, despite all of our efforts, there is always a risk that third parties may unlawfully intercept transmissions. This reality is true of all Internet use. As a result, we cannot ensure the security of any information you transmit, and you transmit all information at your own risk.

CANCELLATIONS

ORDERS
To cancel your order you must send an email to onlinesales@sbsm.com within 8 hours of when you first placed your order or call 1-800-365-1168 and talk to an SB Specialty Metals representative. If your order has been already processed, the shipping costs incurred remain the responsibility of the ordering party.

Email cancellations must contain the following information: First name, last name, order number, and email address. This information must be identical to the information originally submitted on your order. Please provide contact information so that we may contact you if we have questions in regards to canceling your order.

Every effort will be made to accommodate the cancellation of your order, providing your order has not been shipped out and charged.  In the event that a cancellation was submitted (via email or phone), and your order was shipped out after, we will gladly refund the complete balance charged including shipping. However, if the cancellation was documented as received after the order was shipped, we will refund the merchandise total-less shipping.

 

SPECIAL ORDER

Cancellations will be at the discretion of SB Specialty Metals.   Please call 1-800-365-1168 and speak to an SB Specialty Metals representative for all special order cancellations.

 

SALES TAX

Sales tax is charged on all products unless you submit a tax exempt form to onlinesales@sbsm.com.  Actual tax amount is applied at the state level when placing your order, and may vary depending on the county your product is shipping to.

RETURN POLICY

In order to return an item, you must obtain a Return Authorization Number.

Email us at onlinesales@sbsm.com to obtain a return authorization number. You may return any unopened merchandise in its original condition, including original packaging within 30 days of receipt and you will receive a full refund-less shipping. Any shipping cost that you incur to return a product to us will not be refunded.

No returns after 30 days will be accepted.

 

SPECIAL ORDER

Returns will be at the discretion of SB Specialty Metals, a restocking fee may be charged for custom and special order returns. Please call 1-800-365-1168 and speak to an SB Specialty Metals representative for all special order returns.

Any package that has not been received by SB Specialty Metals and tracking information cannot be

provided, will be the sole responsibility of the shipper.

 

ORDERS NOT RECEIVED

You must notify us within 15 days if an order is not received.

Once an order has been shipped and there is a delivery confirmation, SB Specialty Metals is not responsible for any theft of product.

 

OUT OF STOCK  ITEMS

Subsequently, from time to time, if we are not able to fulfill your order, you will be notified via email for any item that is temporarily out of stock or simply cannot be fulfilled. An immediate credit will be issued to your credit card or any other method of payment that was used if the order is cancelled.

SHIPPING POLICY

All orders are shipped, on average, within 48-72 hours from the time your order is placed. On average, you should expect to receive your order within 5-7 business days from the time that you place your order.

 

SHIPPING CHARGES:

UPS Ground shipping charges will be used on all shipments within UPS weight guidelines. If a shipment falls outside of UPS weight requirements, the customer will be contacted with the freight charges prior to shipment of the order.

Debit or Credit Card Orders

If paying by debit or credit card; your account will not be charged until your order ships. If you see a pending charge on your account prior to shipping, this is an authorization hold to ensure the funds are available.
