SB Specialty Metals has added an additional local delivery truck to the Vandalia Ohio operation to offer faster deliveries to the local market. In addition to the truck in Ohio, SB has ordered three more local delivery trucks for Chicago, Detroit and Meadville PA for delivery in the fourth quarter.

The additional trucks and new sawing technology is being added to support an ongoing effort of continuous improvement in customer service and will help elevate the challenges our industry is facing due to a shortage of available common carriers and drivers.
